I have always wanted to do this (OK, since the Gaston's at which the key pic was taken...).

See any similarity?

Cute lionesses under an airplane wing? Problem is that the left picture is a whole different kind of cute from the right picture.

I see one big difference. The cuties on the right can fly that airplane, the ones on the left can't! :D

One shows a gaggle of ferocious carnivores that go for the jugular and show no mercy. The other shows a bunch of big cats.

Both pictures might show why a high wing might be better in some cases, but I won't be so bold as to say that high wings are better.

( )

Problem is, you have to move more to stay in the shade with a high wing (as the sun moves.

Are you planning to come to Gaston's? :princess: If you come, we could meet you in person.

Speaking of Gaston's. Maybe this year we could get a group photo of ALL the lady pilots under a wing at the same time.

I would truly love to, but time, finances, and the exigencies of planning a huge cross country trip VFR in early summer conspire against me. Thank you very much for the thought though.

What route are you taking? We're flying from MO to CA and back in May.

I thought this was going to be a discussion about the two most common elements: hydrogen and stupidity. :)

Not sure I'd argue that with the lions Diana!
Tristan, I'm thinking we may need a longer wing for all the lady pilots who are coming to Gaston's this year. Maybe Kim's Birddog would work...and she has rockets under her wings. :)
