The AA a/c had exceeded a threshold speed prior to rejecting takeoff and had to return to gate for inspection (of brakes, I suspect).

What piece of AI nonsense wrote that first article?
"private King aircraft" (actually, it isn't really private, it was a WheelsUp 135).
"The flight was bound for Boston and was cleared to land on Runway 1" (it was taking off on runway 1, there was yet another AA flight on four mile final that was cleared to land).

Of course, the TV coverage I seen inserted some gratuitous footage of a UA 737Max clipping a parked DAL Airbus at Logan last June like that had any relevance to his.
