My wife and I will be taking a trip in about 2 weeks and I am going to get her a more comfortable headset. Before I spring for a new one I wanted to see if anyone had a used set in good condition.

The QT Halo has a 45 day money back guarantee. If you don't like it, send it back.

Clarity Aloft has a 30 day money back guarantee. Same thing.

I've used both the QT Halo and the Clarity Aloft Pro Plus. Both are excellent headsets. I have no desire to ever go back to any over-ear, even an active ANR, headset.

The QT Halo is less expensive and, IMO, the best value. I upgraded to the Clarity Aloft Pro Plus because my job requires a TSO'd headset. The CA Pro Plus is certainly a better headset but it's also twice as expensive. I've never tried the entry-level Clarity Aloft but suspect that it is still an upgrade over the QT Halo but it still is significantly more expensive so the QT Halo may still be the best value for general aviation use.

I'm thinking Ill go with the QT Halo since my wife flies with me only a few times a year but when we do its for a 2-4 hour flight so I want her to be comfortable and she has complained about the David Clarks she uses now.

I have used the QT headsets for years. Enjoy using them. No batteries, no downsides.

I have 2 pairs of those. I bought one for myself to try, liked it, then ordered one for my wife. She keeps using hers (loves it), but I’ve now stopped using mine for shorter flights (don’t care about my hair, lol). Their prices keep going up. I think I paid $139 for mine new, $159 for hers new.

I have big hairy ear canals and I think I give up a tad bit of noise attenuation with these in-ear styles.

Ok, I just ordered a set so Ill see if my wife likes them. Price was right

I have CAs and QTs. I like them both.

The CQ's that pigpen referred are also highly thought of in the RV realm.

I bought the Crazed Pilot one through Amazon and Ill let my wife try it on our trip. It had good reviews for sounds and clarity but most complaints were that it broke after about 18 months of use. Since she will only use it once-in-a-while it will probably work just fine. If not, it gets returned.

We had the QT's and the CQ's. Sold the QT's a while back and keept the CQ's. My wife uses them exclusively on long trips.

They used to sell that exact unit on ebay for like $79.99 from China. I guess Crazed pilot puts his name on them.
