My airplane parts manual calls for Wood Electric 112-2XX-101 circuit breaker switches. Apparently Wood Electric no longer is in production. What would an suitable replacement? (Fortunately AD70-22-04 does not apply to this series).

Any airplane CB (Klixon is common) should be a suitable replacement as a minor alteration. It's done all the time. The biggest issue is usually whether any modifications to the mounting hole, bus bar, etc. will be needed to make it fit.

If you really want a Wood you can usually pick up used via salvage yard, ebay, etc. Regardless CB switches are considered standard parts so any appropriate CB/switch of the same rating will do. But as mentioned above on fit, if your CBs are installed with busbars, etc. then it's best to find a replacement that is similar in size. If I recall the Woods are close to the same dimensions as Tyco CB/switches. Aircraft Spruce carries the Tycos and the smaller Klixons.

Klixon 7277 are the general “go to” circuit breaker for aircraft. Some use the 7274 with narrower trip limits, but most prefer the 7277. These Klixon breakers are intended for Aerospace applications. Klixon has both in ward or outward Wire tabs depending on configuration required.
