I was worried. I forgot to turn on my cockpit cam and I knew the battery had to be close to dead on the tail cam. It died just after I turned off the runway

Absolutely, my last flight review, flying w/a CFI who'd never been in a Comanche, during the preflight I explained that I will be retracting the flaps as soon as I'm on the ground. Once I showed him the ground clearance between the flap fully extended and the ground he understood. And yes I have Johnson bar flaps.
