My son loved his train set. We put it up around the tree when he was 5. He's 21 and still wants to put it up every year.

When I was a young adult, before kids, my dad complained that he no longer had any toys to play with at Christmas. So,...

The next year I bought him an HO train, and had it set up and running under the Christmas tree before he got up Christmas morning. He loved it, and set it up under his tree for many years afterward.
