ChopAndDrop here... "With you"
any traffic in the pattern please advise...
Calling a 10 mile final, straight-in, at 70 knots.
Then after all that, a go-around.
(joking!)
Its okay, because I always file a flight plan.

But seriously:
I started taking lessons in Gliders but then switched to powered aircraft.
Got my PPL, now working towards Instrument.

Welcome. Let us know when you pull the ‘chute

One question: Zoom climb or Vy?

And, welcome, but don't ever take anything seriously, seriously. <--- Like even this

Welcome! With that name you need a cool appropriate avatar! Getcha one!

“ChopAndDrop” referring to that 40-Degree flap setting on older Cessna 172’s.

So I think I got the hang of things around here, just a few more questions:
- what’s the best airplane to buy or own?
- should I get a high wing or a low wing?
- after I shutdown should I turn the prop blades horizontal or vertical ?
- should my moving maps be “Track Up” or “North Up”?
- why don’t all aircraft have airframe parachute systems like CAPS ?

I think that covers it... I’ll show myself out now ;)

Welcome
