Chilling in San Diego

Everyone is saying it's hot here, but it beats being in Tucson this weekend (110F or worse predicted for everyday). Flew into Montgomery today and drove over to King Schools. Kings weren't in, but I got a tour of the building.

Hello,

I am just starting my lessons and fly out of MYF. I went to the airport today and practiced my preflight as next lesson my instructor won't be walking me through it. It was pretty darned hot for us wimpy southern Californians! It's also been a beautiful week -- I can't wait to get back up on Sunday!

To be honest it's a happy coincidence I'm missing the heat wave back home since I had already planned to be here this weekend

Sitting in my hotel room in San Diego reading this. Had meetings all day yesterday and until almost 1 today. Dinner with a friend this evening and then an early morning fight on UA tomorrow. The weather has been nice here.

I played ultimate frisbee all day 10-5. Next game 9am tomorrow.

SD is always hot in Aug/Sept/Oct......so I guess it just came a little early this year. Either way, it isn't the steambath of the east coast right now. Enjoy god's country!
