dang. seriously, I dig the original paint scheme, but I get that many folks want the swoopy Cessna style. I'm sure you're picking something great for it

thanks for the input Mike. Was it rallyups fault or some other issue?fyi, I have had a bad experience with "Rally Up", the raffle system Tim is using. I purchased tickets for another airplane raffle last September and had the credit card number stolen. Fortunately the problem was caught quickly and everything was resolved in my favor.

I wish Tim luck in disposing of his airplane. But I won't be participating (as much as I would like to) due to RallyUp being the raffle mechanism.
not in good shape.Agreed, I think the green looks pretty sharp if it's in good shape. Instead of new paint, I'd love to see a pair of G5s. : )
I didn't pursue this any further once the ticket purchase cost was refunded, and USAA acknowledged the disputes, closed the account, and issued a replacement card.thanks for the input Mike. Was it rallyups fault or some other issue?

This is exactly why I'm posting now. I will pursue other payments. Thanks for the info.I didn't pursue this any further once the ticket purchase cost was refunded, and USAA acknowledged the disputes, closed the account, and issued a replacement card.
So no info on who caused the info breach.
But as said in that other thread, if you can provide an alternate means of purchasing tickets (like PayPal), then I might be persuaded to participate.
you are absolutely correct. application is already in. tickets will not be availale until that election is approved.I thought only nonprofits could conduct a raffle. Am I incorrect in my thinking?
So, seeing as you'll be a non-profit registered in Florida, does that mean a Florida resident can legally win?
Unless restrictiedby state laws anyone can win. Plane will be shown in Florida at the usual plaes. I will post a schedule of visits I'll make to airports once availble. Home hangar is KSPG and I have another at 42JLet me guess, you’re asking for a friend in Florida?

really great plane, I'm gonna throw another 30k into her before the raffle it will be top notch. You know what I did to her when I bought her...Dang man, I remember when you brought this plane home! I remember seeing it advertised online and you beating me to it! lol
so, I don't get it. is there any way this can be legit? (le-what? legit.) if you win, will you have to pay taxes on $300,000 (3000 tickets x $100)? why wouldn't everybody do this, raise 300k for a 100k airplane?
