We have a CGR-30P in a C182, installed about 4 years ago. It periodically gives readings across all parameters very high or very low (fast jumps - then back to correct readings). Have rechecked connections and grounding (2 different shops). Getting it looked at again, but wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and hopefully a fix!

Thanks

Joe

Any correlation to when you're transmitting on a comm radio? Ours has had a consistent problem with that when transmitting on our 430.

Last upgrade planned for my Cherokee within the next year or so. Watching this one.

The EI guys rock. They will help you diagnose what's happening and why, way more then the forum members can help. As Dave said above, contact them directly and provide a the data drop from the device for them to have more to work with. If you are looking for forum help, it best to upload data to Savvy for their plotting tools to make graphs that are shareable on the forum to see the symptom.

Are the erratic indications a new problem, or have you observed this behavior since new? If not since new, what work has been done on the aircraft since you began noticing the erratic behavior? As mentioned above, RFI can certainly create issues if the antenna coax is run too closely to the EDC/harnessing, if there is a poor antenna ground plane, or if the radio is sharing a ground.
