Hello all,

I am looking for a long range, left wing bladder tank for my C182P. Pn#20000-23 last installed in 1994. I live in California and would like to find a company that repairs or replaces them. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Many consider Eagle Fuels cells the best as they are easier to install. Eagle also repairs older bladders. Both bladders in my 182P were replaced a few months ago. Also buy their installation kit. Which includes the required mil spec airframe tape, gaskets, and a box of Band Aides.

Also replace all rubber hardline interconnects as they are likely beyond end of life and stiff as a rock.

While your in there I'd change all the rubber fuel lines and rubber vent lines. The head liner will need to come down partially.

IIRC There are “loops” on the upper inside of the bladder. These suppport

the plastic tubes for the vent lines. I’ve found the tubes laying on the

bottom. This allows some cross feeding between tanks.

Any A&P should be able to replace the bladder. As mentioned before, Eagle seems to have a good name.
