Brake bleeder

Wow. Normally I think Tom deserves the flack he gets, but not on this one. This is a pretty commonly used set up. My IA uses a DIY pretty much the same as this. Not sure why all the fuss about it.

I just use 1/4 plastic tube off my little hands pump- I got it long enough I can stand up n watch the bleeder valve in the cockpit... works great, it’s identical to my IAs setup just a longer hose to be easier as a 1 man crew

Hello Tom, does the sprayer come with the black connecting line? If not, could you recommend what I can use? Thanks.
ACE hardware the smallest they have. or what the sprayer fits.

Clear poly tubing from Home Depot. Buy more than you need; the 5606 will harden it over time.

Dual brake Cherokees have 5 Master Cylinders and can be a pia.

Pressure Pots didn’t seem to help much.

Even a Tee to both calipers was not a cure.

Air bubbles don’t like to go dow?

Haven’t tried suction bleeders yet.

Would this be different?

Or?

The underlying principle of all bleeding is to move the fluid faster than the air bubbles can migrate back so that they are carried out with the the fluid. Some brake systems have pockets that hold air.
