I'm not sure that the rate of aircraft destruction has increased, but certainly the value of the destroyed aircraft has gone up.
 
Ten seconds of kaboom and a bunch of time of no-name aholes talking. Needless to say, I skipped most of it. I don't need to listen to armchair commentary. I can figure out what is going on.
 
Why did this get moved to from the Mishap forum to 'Aviation Media'?

Guessing the mod didn't actually watch the video?
 
I guess the important lesson here is if you scrape the prop in a gear-up landing, just close the throttle and own it. Too many times the natural reaction is to go-around.

I haven’t seen any cases of a fatality from a gear-up landing, but trying to go-around with an bent prop could be a lot more dangerous.
