Biz trip to Chicago- need a tour!

Hi everyone-

I'm going to Chicago in a few weeks. Would love to grab a plane and CFI and tour the area. Any thoughts on who I should talk to?

Flying down the Lakeshore gives you a great view and is easy.

If you don't mind driving a little ways to Schaumburg Municipal airport, Northwest Flyers offers a Lakefront tour. Great folks and I got a great tour of the lakefront while the CFI handled the radios and local procedures. I just flew the plane and enjoyed the view.

Oh, almost forgot to mention, there's also a great restaurant on the field!

Heck, do the flight review locally, and you don't even need to grab a CFI once in Chicago.

Lakefront tour is nice, but watch the Class B rings, and do try to get Chicago Approach flight following, as it can get crowded.
