Best Practices for aging aircraft

interesting Tom, thanks. I certainly have to deal with this on the glider. It was built in 1965 and spent about 20 yrs in storage (thankfully, dry!) The only way to really know what I'm dealing with will be to recover the entire thing so that I can have a good close look inside. The current inspection panels and the hole at the wing root are pretty good but doesn't paint a complete picture.
