I am returning to flying after an approximate 10 year hiatus. I am a commercial, instrument, rotary wing and sel pilot.

What on-line resources would you all recommend as good reviews? I am working with a CFII doing ground school as well as getting hours again but I want to supplement that with some on-line course work in my spare time. Anything that I can do on my iPad versus my laptop would be preferential too.

Thank you all in advance,

mjo

Lots of good resources available on YouTube for freshening up your knowledge and they are free.

AOPA used to have some resources to point out things that would have changed depending on the length of your hiatus. Not sure if they're updated and available.

They do have some sort of "rusty pilot program" I think. Worth checking out. Also, they have a lot of very helpful online mini courses and the accident case studies are always worth watching.

This is great, thanks you. If I wanted to do an online course does anyone have a recommendation? Not looking to waste money but I like the idea of a regimented program. Thanks

King and Sportys both have good structured courses if you're looking for something like that.

Thanks...that was kind of my initial question (or I meant it to be), which one do the masses suggest over another.

Liveatc.net

ATC feeds from around the corner and all over the world. Great to practice getting your radio ears back, and to relearn radio phrasing.
