Final Approach
We hiked to Allens Falls above Grand Lake CO yesterday. The scenery was great, the falls were nice, the hike was ... shoulder to shoulder people ... I'm really beginning to dislike people ... ok, crowds.
Anyway, standing at the falls, looking north towards Grand Lake, admiring the scenery, when I find myself almost eyeball to eyeball with a single F-15 ... I swear, looked like co-altitude! About 1 second later, before my hand could even begin to respond to "get your phone! Take a picture!" he banks left and pulls ... up and over and out of sight.
Oh yeah, we saw some moose, too ... ho-hum ...
