BED pilots

Anyone flying out of Hanscom or Boston area, I have a question: how often are SIDs and STARs used in that area? We have a crapload of them at BWI, but they're almost never used for piston GA.

It's been a while since I've flown IFR. To/from KBED in my cherokee 140 I never got a SID or STAR.

Can't speak for BED, but for Norwood (OWD) you generally won't get a STAR on the way in, but you're likely to get a DP/SID on the way out.

It's been many years since I flew out of BED, but I don't remember ever using SID or STAR there. Departures always started with "radar vectors..."

Have never had either out of owd or bed even when I had a light twin.
