This will not help me become a better pilot, but I’ll try anything.

I recently purchased an automatik German Laco Pilot Watch, a “FliegerUhr”. The minutes and seconds are most prominent in this timepiece. Photos attached.

Please share your aviation timepiece!

Not sure if it will help you as a pilot, but it is certainly one ugly watch.

Nice that it has a "this end up" arrow where the 12 might otherwise be.

Can you return in for credit towards flight instruction? THAT would make you a better pilot.
 
Here's my "pilots watch" The transponder has all the timer functions I need. Flt time, Count Up, etc.

I also have a Garmin D2. Can't remember the last time it was out of its box.

I have a Citizen Skyhawk I want to sell....

Battery needs a bit of charging (it is a solar charging model), but that can be done by pointing my desk lamp at it.

I’ve debated getting a omega moon watch a few times.

Been rocking my O&W with a val 7750 for almost a decade.

Does it come with a magnifying glass?
 
Seiko dive watch. Clear easy-to-see face, sweep second hand, glows in the dark, and waterproof to 200 meters. Rotating bezel to keep track of elapsed time for tank switching (or diving).

My chrono has a dive bezel, I use that dang thing more than the chrono function, and I don’t even dive. VERY handy

That looks like a Miyota movement.

I suppose if it were an ETA it'd say "Swiss" somewhere on there.
 
Three-year-old cheap-arse Casio. What did you expect? I fly Experimental. :D

(well, the plane has a glass panel, but I'd rather spend the money there)

Only 40mm in size, light in weight. Think I paid approx 0.3 AMU a few years back.
 
Love Fleiger dials. I've beenwearing a Seiko automatic for years.

This is my favourite one: Glycine Airman Base 22 - imho the best aviation watch ever made :)

I love a German watch which says "Made in Germany" in English rather than Deutsch. :D

I wear a Casio Pro-Trek Solar. I have a Movado in a drawer at home...which probably needs a battery at this point, along with a number of various other watches I never wear. I think I also have a Seiko of some sort.
 
I bought this timepiece at Banyon’s Pilot Shop in Ft. Lauderdale.

I like my Hamilton Aviator Auto. 38mm because 42 screams pilot watch.

Yeah, and that was in 1995. I got it for $500 plus tax ($541.25).

It's been a great, reliable timekeeper for 23 years without the $400 overhaul every five years I was spending on my 1675 GMT Master (which wasn't nearly as accurate).
 
Birthday gift from my wife last year when I was finishing my sport ticket.

It's not really useful for flying, but I like the look and enjoy wearing it. It's on my wrist right now, in fact. I can't read the E6 bezel without reading glasses, and I wouldn't try to use it in the plane.

For flying, I wear either my G-Shock or an inexpensive Casio analog with a timing bezel and stopwatch dials. I prefer the timing bezel since it's easy to set and read and I can read off both elapsed time and time of day. When flying I use the bezel to time legs and the stopwatch to time fuel since engine start.
