What are the big differences, does Sheppard prepare you for either, and how do you sign up for the 121 variety? The PSI site (the vendor that manages all the FAA written tests) only lists the 135 variety as an option..

Back in the day, you did weight & balance and performance on a 727 for the 121 version and a Beech 1900 for the 135 version.

Based on the ACS, I’d guess that the 135 version morphed into the Single Engine version and the 121 version became the Multi Engine version.

Mine had questions about beech 1900s and 767s (IIRC)

There's no such thing as a single engine 121 ATP test.

That's what I thought, until I came across this...
http://www.dauntless-soft.com/products/groundschool/121or135.asp

And then I started to wonder why the ATP-S has the "135" qualifier in parenthesis after it (suggesting that there was a "121" variety) and I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing anything while it is all fresh in my head...

Thanks for the sanity check.

Jon
