Top of the icy morning to ya. I need some airplane work done in the north burb of Atlanta GA. If you are one, or can recommend one on the north side please let me know.

You should contact Lance Flynn- he lives there, and is a smart and savvy guy.

Hope I haven't ****ed him off recently..... :D

I broke the framus rod. I may have loose muffler bearings. Someone also told me I was low on prop was too.

It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Framus rod with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And you'll gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.

I'd bet it's the flux capacitor. You can fix that with a few feet of flightline.

Aaron at AB Aviation at Gainesville (KGVL) is a reputable guy.

Years ago (2003) on my way to Florida (from Chicago) on a Sunday, I had both an alternator failure and the oil inspection door latch broke on my Cherokee.

DLK Aviation @ RYY (Cobb County Airport/McCollum Field) fixed both of them 1st thing on Monday and had us on our way by 10am. Reasonable price too. I would certainly recommend them.

A couple weeks back Aaron did some work for me when I was stranded at KGVL with magneto troubles. I can tell you he stands behind his work even when things out of his control go to crap.

Don't forget the blinker fluid. It's a lot harder to remember for the airplane, but still just as necessary as in the car. Of course, if you just carried a set of sky hooks with you, you wouldn't have half these problems.
