I guess 3am is the best time for those of us in the Central time zone.

Anyone else going to wait for it?

Kinda glancing out the window now and again, it says ovc but is actually partly cloudy. I haven't broken out my igloo blanket for the year yet

My 9yr old daughter put it up on our calendar 3 weeks ago. I have a feeling she is going to have me wake her up to see it!

Unfortunately, here in Chicago the weather didn't look very favorable, so I did not even try.

Pre-kids, my wife and I used to fly the plane to rural Illinois and Wisconsin locations to get away from the city lights. We also tried to watch the shower while flying above an overcast layer. Even though we could see the stars crystal clear, we were not able to see a single meteor... even with the instrument lights on minimum brightness, and extreme cockpit light discipline. That surprised me.
