Vintage Snazzy (so my adult children say)
Hope all is as good as possible for anyone caught up in this mess.
That's a double-whammy. Having to deal with Santa Ana fire storms AND living in LA!
Definitely some devastating stuff. Watching video of some of the runs from fire fighting aircraft makes it seem almost pointless to try, not being able to get low and get the fire retardant on target due to such high crosswinds.Think of it as a start on urban renewal.....
2024 was rough, and 2025 isn’t having a great beginning.
From the footage I saw, that was easily solved by a bulldozer.Watching some of the coverage, it looks like some roads are clogged with abandoned cars and firefighters can't get in. Apparently the congestion, combined with maybe a fender-bender or two, forced people to leave their vehicles and flee on foot.
I heard the bulldozers were used to clear the road for Fire trucks. From the footage I saw, that was easily solved by a bulldozer.
Except that required pulling the dozer from cutting new fire breaks in order to move the cars, which cost time on the line. From the footage I saw, that was easily solved by a bulldozer.
