The original "I don't know it all" of aviation.
should have been more patient before hitting the submit button....

I was able to answer my question after finding the correct publication.

Obviously your answer is wrong…clearly you didn’t account for the Coriolanus force.

edit: I did actually type “coriolis”. Apparently my iPad knows better.

I cannot wait to hear the scientific explanation of how that force works. With very few exceptions, I hope the lecture does not include graphics.

Although largely unknown among fixed wing pilots, this force is especially important for rotorcraft, where it accounts for the lack of lavs on board.

Uh huh. In the case of a GyroCopter, does it cause the reverse effect? The world becomes your lavatory?

It would be the force applied by the Shakespearean play…whether that’s good or bad depends on your ability to tolerate culture. ;)

So, that's it!
I always wondered why I became so bored when my Mom took me to the opera. When it comes to live music I prefer simpler tunes, and people that sing in English. I've never fallen asleep at a Bluegrass concert.
Now I know. The Coriolanus effect makes your eyelids feel like lead blankets. A force stronger than gravity.
Who coulda knowed?

Would Don Coriolis be providing a force (or effect) that we cannot refuse?

This is how the Corleone Effect works:

"I will do this. And someday, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift on my daughter's wedding day."

I’m not sure that matters here. There’s sure to be a multi page thread discussion nothing anyway

Is this why Australian helicopter rotors spin the other way?

You are better off renting.
/what was the question?
