Another Huricane ruins my plans!

This is the third time this year that I had a hurricane mess up my travel plans.

I had Ike mess up my trip to Japan, then when I got to Macau a week later I could not get home due to a Typhoon. Today and tomorrow hurricane Paloma is striking the Cayman islands and my scuba diving trip was canceled for next week.

It has been a rough couple of months and me and the SO sure could have used the time to get away and float in warm water. We will still go to Cayman next Saturday but I only get two days to play and then I have to work the rest of the week. The Aggressor Fleet, which is who we were booked on, will send me two vouchers for another cruise. I am thinking February/March time frame on re booking. I'll have more out of pocket costs as this trip's airfare, for me, was covered by work. But that is a small price to pay.

I am planning a few days away next week local. I don't even have access to my plane as the top overhaul was scheduled to start on Monday while I was out of country.

Old habits are hard to break. Pretty much had it beaten into my head that one does just casually throw the name of GOD about and should be respectable. I grew up with in a very conservative orthodox neighborhood and community and they took that stuff pretty seriously.

Nah, that's not an official graphic of ours. I made the other night when Nick was being a pain about Eggenfeller engines again and had made up an "I want YOU" poster of some sort (I forget what).

I sent it to a few people at work, they seem to either love it or groan.
