We just released our new video at Angel Flight East featuring some of our pilots, board members, staff and patients. It is incredibly moving and inspirational. We are exceptionally proud of it, hope you feel as I do about it.

When ae they going to allow experimentals to participate? They are missing a ton of airplanes and pilots that would be willing to help. :dunno:
 
The girl who was treated with stem cells to regenerate her trachea is actually big news. That treatment was a true milestone in stem cell therapy. I hope it turns out well for her.

Not sure Larry, I think a lot of that is limited by what the PBO's insurance carrier says. I was just at the Air Care Alliance Conference and it seemed that rule applied to all PBO's whose pilot volunteers flew people. It would be good to see them included.

Michael, I just saw her a week and a half ago. She is doing great, Just about to graduate High School and get training for a career in Hair styling. she is a Beautiful and vibrant young lady!

David, you can. We always need ground volunteers and people to help sperad the word.
 
I noticed AvWeb had Angel Flight West video today... a little promotional video competition going on there, or just coincidence? And why didn't AvWeb carry East's video? LOL...

Not sure Nate. I'll make sure we get it to them. Otherwise no competition between Angel Flight East and West. Totally different territories. Angel Flight West is a super organization and in fact we have and do work together on certain projects with them. I Just met their staff at the Air Care Alliance Conference and they are really great folks.

Heh. Understood. Always wondered why there were two. Seems like the organization would be stronger with a national umbrella org over the top. Maybe not. Adds complexity.

Actually, there are a lot more than two (http://www.angelflight.org/index.php?/regional_wings/affiliate_links/). There's history between some of the organizations (http://www.jonesday.com/jones-day-s...orgia-inc-in-major-trademark-case-11-20-2006/). Some of the Angel Flight groups are under the Air Charity Network umbrella organization (http://www.aircharitynetwork.org/). Most of the public benefit flying organizations are members of the Air Care Alliance (http://www.aircareall.org), whose conference Adam mentioned.

Great video, Adam! Liked your cameo, and especially that you had a shot of the coordinators, too! They do so much behind the scenes to make everything work.
