What’s up hosses

Any one of you ever fly a ultra light with floats?

How safe are they? There’s so much water over here that it would seem like a good
Option to get up in the air and fly a whole bunch for enjoyment

When I was younger and dumber, there was a guy giving rides in one for $20. I only had $15, but he took me up anyway. He demoed a dead stick landing by killing the engine. Holy lawndart, Batman!

haha, buddy of mine that flies a malibu must have logged 10,000 hours in his ultra light, it must be a thing with those pilots because he said everytime he took it out he did a dead stick landing on one of the neighbors grass strip.
