The Trinnie is finally back on line!!! So I went for a little test flight before subjecting myself to tomorrow's practice approach abuse in prep for my flight to Kansas on Wed.

Everything's working fine, did a flyby at the farm and waggled the wings at the husband. Decided the first landing would be OKV. Everything feels and looks good, when on short final a spider dropped down in front of my nose. I quickly uncrossed my eyes, smacked the spider out of the way, and completed a very nice land....TYVM. :D

Last I saw of the spider, he was staggering his way across the glare shield.

Oh my! Only time I nearly crashed a car was when a bee flew out of a vent. I still don't know how it happened, but I swatted to get it out of my face, and the car turned 90 degrees left, crossed 5 lanes of traffic at 45 MPH, and I stopped on the sidewalk on the other side. Didn't hit nobody.

Yay! Good to know you're flying again!

I had a horse fly come in through the air vent in a 172 while teaching a student to land. Fly the plane, fly the plane!

Good think you avoided the potential bee sting, unlike a 45 mph head on collision, those stingers can HURT!
