Epic facepalm. You can't make this stuff up. So dude tried to rent a plane, couldn't, so he stole one.
 
As our insurance rates double.....*sigh*
 
This gentleman is apparently from Richland, Washington according to the TriCity Herald. I think I may have worked with him at one time
 
Obviously this guy wasn't a pilot. Everyone knows that real pilots do their twirls BEFORE their loops:

Why does it seem like the high profile plane thieves are in the Northwest? The Barefoot Bandit, the Horizon Air guy, and now this?
