Airport Data?

Anyone know of a place that I can grab, either in CSV form, or some other form, information from every airport in the United States?

I seem to recall it being available as DAFIF or something...

It's AFS-100 data. It is fixed field, all upper case, 1960s mainframe crapola.

You get it on CD by subcription.

There were sites that put it up but not currently the last time I checked. Use your Google-fu.

Even finding out how to subscribe is a pain.

Nick- The FAA has some data- essentially the AFD on line in a CSV/XL format. If you don't find this by this evening, I'll send you the link. You can look in my posts about making your own airport database for a GPS and the link is there.

Well, it may not be entirely what you're asking for, but airnav has good deal of information for any airport that I can think of.

I have the data linked to above in a mysql database. I also have some java code to read what is downloaded and create the database.

You are welcome to the db or the code to assist in your efforts.
