If shipping is $300 then I’ll take it. -> Waukegan zip 60087Yeah, Im going to assume it’s going to be expensive to ship. I did ship an engine to my house from Michigan last year. It was on a pallet and I used uship and it was $700. So I would assume to Texas this will be $300-400 and probably similar to Chicago. But if your truly interested I can look into it

I have a Piper Arrow, I trained in a 172.I think I have the upper hand here, looking at @mandm profile picture, the wings of his plane are attached incorrectly and Comanche drivers will always help a brother out

I woould estimate it less than 50 lbs. i have taken it apart and put it in my baggage compartment on my Comanche and flown with it. Its not bad but I wouldnt call it light.
Do you have a photo of it folded up as well? People on uship are asking. Thank you.Ill stop at the airport this morning and get an actual weight and dimensions for everyone
I got a quote from FedEx so if you’re willing to box it up and ship it, then I’ll take it. Sent you a PM. Thanks in advance. From M&M with the Happy Arrow waiting for her little tug to help her.Ok, heavier than I thought. I also dont have any pictures of it folded because Im only going to disassemble it if someone buys it. It a couple of bolts for the handle and the front connectors.
Weight: 117 lbs
Size when folded: 26” L x 19” W x 15” H
Goshippo is $132 via UPS to Chicago for 117lbs. I need to buy an adapter to fit my Arrow but I’m totally fine with that. I think a regular box, bubble wrap the motor and small pieces, use a whole roll of packaging tape and I’m fine with that. Write fragile on the box.If it goes unpending, let me know. UPS to Dallas is only just over $200 to ship. @mandm have you tried UPS?
See my post in the other thread. I may have a better answer for you. And mine may not need any changes to work with an Arrow.Goshippo is $132 via UPS to Chicago for 117lbs.
