I just got home from a Shortwing Piper Club Chapter meeting at Anzio's Landing a super eatery at Falcon Field, Mesa AZ KFFZ.
All day long my ears were assailed by loud airplanes. P-51s flight of two, T-28, B-17, T-6s round and round they went.
The airplane noise alone was worth the trip, add a perfect Eggplant Parmigiana lunch, a contented spouse and life is good.
