Aircraft ownership rush to Exit door

I must say the old Cessna taildraggers have very pleasing lines. A pristine 120/140/170 is downright beautiful. Something you would never say about their nosedragger descendants.

The interiors are a bit fugly with the arc yokes and panels laid out like a hostage ransom note.

I took this photo in 1966, of a '51 C-170A panel -- original except for the "modern" Superhomer. :D

I retract my statement. That looks pretty nice. But the scan pattern must be a nightmare.

Interesting to think what you could do with 3 GI-275's in front of the pilot.

That has to be the most evocative description of an aircraft panel that I've ever seen!
