After delays due to Oshkosh and weather, finally got a chance to get in the air with this awesome looking bird!

Nice pics! That 337 sure has a lot of rivets and what appears to be a wrinkle or 2. Anyway, great job as usual Jack!

I always thought it was a good looking airplane, and what a clean belly!

Great shots as usual Jack!

Great photography as usual, Jack! I've always thought the 337 and the Rutan Defiant represented the ideal configuration for a twin; no asymmetrical thrust issues. IIRC rear engine cooling in the fixed gear 336 was a problem, and mechanics didn't like working on the rear engine.

One of the coolest looking airplanes out there, very sturdy and utilitarian..

This falls into the category of funky plane that I tend to like. Aside from the aforementioned over-heating issues, it also does not get particularly performance per gallon. Probably the main reason I did not buy one for a faster plane.

Nice shots!
Very cool airplane and great photos.

Great photos!!
Beautiful pictures of a very neat plane, thanks for sharing.

Thank you all! Always a great audience for my work!

Even for you, Jack, these photos are terrific! Very well done! Great images and presentation of an airplane that's really beautiful, at least to me.

(Petty and jealous NA snark - perhaps it's no surprise that an owner with a BMW 850i thinks a Skymaster is easy to work on and low maintenance?!)
