Shot this for the magazine last night. It was fun watching someone who has flown formation in T6 Texan IIs fly next to us. I think he was bored.

And before all you start pointing it out... I know about his door handle. I told him before we took off. He double checked that the door was latched securely, but the handle stayed down. At least his gear doors were up!

Also, I warned him the DBG (Dirty Belly Gang) would come out. He said he cleaned the belly, but he said 44 years on the original paint has left a few oil stains.

I believe I've covered all POA disclaimers!

Looking good...be driving right past there today heading to the hill county...wish I was flying...310 is just beautiful in flight.

Beautiful! Love those 310Rs... in my previous life I was a C-310 check hauling freight dog, 2400 hours in 'em. Great airplanes.

Belly looks pretty clean to me!

Nice pics as always Jack.

Having experience cleaning the belly of a twin, I'd say that's not a bad job at all. Besides, nobody I know frames and hangs a picture of the underside of their airplane. :p Shot #1 is my favorite.

Great shots as always... Now if I could just get mine back....:sigh:

What happened? In for avionics upgrade?

Yes, Dropped it off May 6.... Still waiting and waiting and waiting...:mad2:

Nice job as usual, always enjoy your work.

Nice. I like that shot of the plane directly over the dam: the plane is so crisp, while everything else is blurred. It looks surreal.

Thanks. He asked me if I wanted him to do S-turns. I said yes, but didn't expect it to be as dramatic as it was. Barely got that shot!

Great photos as always and that’s a sharp looking plane. He was even able to hold altitude on the break. Some day I’ll learn how to do that.

Do the man a solid and take care of the handle and belly in post.

Nice work (as usual). Your ability to find that marvelous lighting is a gift. The excellent depth-of-field (I'm guessing f22 (?)) really makes the images pop. Who flies and who photographs? Thanks, Jack.

Great work as always. That close up that just has the nose, nacelles, and the front of the cabin with the pilot looking up reminds me of so many FLYING covers over the years.

The photos were awesome but I liked the article that went with this one. It’s well worth the read and articles like that are part of why I renewed my Cessna Owner’s membership.

Great pictures, I loved my 310R!! Any particular reason the door handle isn’t tucked in? I’m sure the door is latched, Judy odd the see the exterior latch not in place.
