We had a lot of fun too. Tell your wife you have my permission to put up 6 photos! I'm sure that will convince her.Tons of fun. Thanks for making it look so good Jack.
Now to convince the wife we need these pictures in every room of the house.

Wow Jack.
That sunset photo is outstanding! Great job framing it in the clouds with the beautiful sunset colors. You really have the eye.
I can learn the technical aspects of photography but I think the artistry is a wonderful gift and am envious of people like you that have it. I know it also takes a lot of planning and hard work as well but I think there are some things that can’t be taught that separates those that have it from those that don’t. You have it.

Thank you! It was fun.Ooh that's nice Jack! Purty!
Thank you!WOW.... just WOW!!!
Thank you. I think we turned at least two full circles to get that shot! I had to figure out a way to keep our right wing up and get him in between us and the sun. Credit goes to both pilots for pulling it off... my photo pilot Donn Hopkins and Brent for performing so well in his first formation flight! I'm just the director.Wow Jack.

You can stop trying... you’re on the always free list!I'm slowly setting you up so you'll take pics of my plane, if I ever get a my plane lol.
Lol, thanks and this explains the SWAT team outside. Fortunately I live in a small town and they’re not that scary. I’m going to bed!Impressive.
Killer plane and killer photographer!
(not killer as in the crazy murder movies but killer as in really good)
Althooooough... killer plane might make a good movie... @eman1200 and @SixPapaCharlie
Thank you! It sure has been a lot of fun.Jack, you're amazing. Can't get enough.
I like them too, but see what the landing gear pivots cost.Beautiful pics of a gorgeous airplane. Best model Cessna ever quit making!!
Jim
Edit....Holy moly! I just broke the 500-message sound barrier

Thanks!Great shots as usual!
What year is that plane? The cowl and nosebowl are different than my club’s plane.
This is a fairly new option...... http://www.troutdaleaircraft.com/cessna-landing-gear-repair.html
Don't know what it ^^^^^ costs, but it's gotta be cheaper than new. I know several R182 owners, and none of them has ever had an issue, including one that has spent it's entire life ('79 model) on grass (the airplane, not the owner
I’m definitely adding “magazine cover model” to my LinkedIn profile. Probably won’t help me in the tax accounting world, though.
Mine has the handle, too! It's easy to tell the ex-FBI airplanes...They're all painted in Ohio State colors!
Sorry, Brent!
Jim
PS- On ours, they also added a handle on top of the cowl to make it easier to use the 'new' step they put on. Very handy!

The plane is an 85 model. Upgraded and basically rebuilt over the years with your tax dollars when it was owned by the FBI. They made some changes to it but the cowl is not something I’m aware of, except for the step they added. Great airplane, though.
Thanks again @Lowflynjack for the opportunity.
