Your airplane came with a "Finish & Trim Plate" mounted on the left rear door post. The parts manual decodes the letters on that plate to identify the exterior and interior colors the airplane was built with. If that plate is missing, it may be tough to identify the original colors.

I’ve never been smitten with 172’s. Have probably less than 40 hours total in them, but for some reason I’ve always had a soft spot for a nice straight tail. Maybe I was encouraged by the “Land-O-Matic” buzzword. Couple that with a really beautiful example and Jack’s camera work and it’s a real winner.
