Hmmm...
We welcome you to come experience classic flying from a high-quality turf airfield from spring to fall, and superior ski flying in the winter.
Does that qualify it as "privately owned, public use"? Looks nice, and 2500' is plenty long for many/most trainers. Now, just don't stay there too long if you're from out of Maine, lest you get a nasty tax bill!:hairraise:

Why does he feel a need for the pompous language ?

'Hey I bought this grass-strip, come over for some hot-dogs and sodas on saturday' would probably get the same amount of interest as this pseudo-professional website.

That "nasty tax bill" issue will, expectedly, soon be legislated OUT. The "leaders" have received the message, loud, clear, and from afar.

Hard to be pompous when your webhost is "freezoka.net"

HR, looks great!!

Reminds me of a place once called "Poverty Flats" in Maine. Flew into it a couple of times in the mid '70s. Could not find it on the charts in the 90s. Any ideas on that one?
