AeroCentex FBO KGTU Death Watch

This FBO at Georgetown Texas no longer sells fuel, answers their phone, and is locked. I haven't seen the hangar door open in the last 2 weeks.

They are also no longer listed on AIRNAV.

The phone goes to voicemail, I'm assuming they are out of business and just have not made it official yet.

Anyone know?

I have seen their locked doors too. Heard only rumors, nothing definite yet. They made financial deals with some bad people.

There is still plenty of fuel on the field, though. Also fuel trucks on the south side.

If so, that's a shame. I usually have someone pick me up when I fly into GTU, but made arrangements with AeroCentex for a rental car one weekend last fall and had a very pleasant experience with them.

What fuel brand do they sell ? AvFuel ? Call AvFuel direct and ask the status of AeroCentex. If they ain't filling the fuel tanks underground, that will tell you alot.
