A Slight Detour, Today...

This was a great instrument flight. The funny thing is... we did a full stop in Corpus Christi because my student drank too much coffee this morning. When we departed, we were VFR with a different squawk.

Yet, it shows as if it were a continuous flight with the VFR altitudes we later used between Corpus Christi and Brenham.

That was one heck of a long approach into KCRP and it's not even aligned with 35!

We couldn't have gone that far if the tail wind had tripled. We had 30+ headed south.

Ha! I can top that. Check this flight from Marion, SC to Sanford, FL. Imagine my reaction when I saw I'd just traversed the entire southeast multiple times...
