The new pilot is not known to me, but Freeport is not far from here. The story is interesting; similar to a contact of mine who, as a high school student, was ferrying planes to and from California. That was before he had an automobile operator's license; and his best friend's father being an airplane broker, Joel's ferrying services was a great assist when planes got brokered and needed deliveries. Joel is now an officer in USAF and has thousands of hours in C-17(I think that's what he last told me he's been flying). When last I knew, he still owed the USAF about three years.
