With all of the bad news this story made me feel good. In the annual "Spring Game" , a tradition in NE when 60,000 football fans fill the stadium to get a look at the new players, and see some practice drills.

Little Jack, a brain cancer patient took the field on a 4 and 1. He took a hand off from Taylor Martinez and he ran for a TD while the entire team ran along side pretending to block and be blocked. It was an amazing act of kindness and team sportsmanship. It was an amazing day.

Thanks, Geico.

Now we know how the Huskers defense will perform this year! (JUST KIDDING!)

The Huskers are a great team and probably my favorite college football team because of their good sportsmanship.

They try harder than any team I know, but I may be a tad "unobjective" . ;)

Plus, unlike so many other universities, they haven't forgetten the "student" part of "student athlete". Many times over the years I've heard various Nebraska coaches tell their players that the "N" on the stadium stands for nowledge.

Now that's what I call looking out for your boys and their future!

You obviously don't remember Tom Osborne locking away a gun that was possibly used by one of his players in the commission of a felony, or Lawrence Phillips.

We watched this video and then the interview with the kid and his Dad on ESPN.
My wife cried....I just had something in my eye.

Or that one of their most notable products of recent years is Ndamukong Suh, who is not exactly known for his good sportsmanship.

The President invited this little boy and his family to the white house today, along with Rex Burkhead ( picked 6th round NFL draft)

Very cool thing for his little boy recovering from brain cancer.

They weren't pretending to miss the tackle, that was just my favorite team, the Dolphins missing the tackles as usual.
