6Y9 2022 Fly in/Camp in

If my aircraft is out of FAA registration limbo by then I hope to make it. I’ve heard it may be the last.
 
My wife wants to go which makes it likely that we will be there.
I told her she is guaranteed to see the aurora so if when we get there, you can just shine some lights in our faces like last time, I think she will be satisfied.
 
I'm 90% on going, 65% on getting the mrs. there. Still working the childcare angle.
 
I've never been and really want to go. There's a big sailboat race the same weekend that I'm being harassed about.
 
I also have never been and want to go. also, I never realized 6Y9 is pretty darn close to 6Y3, just sayin................hhhhhhmmmmmmmm.......

too bad our old friends @German guy and @Skywalker aren't interested in flying anymore.....we used to talk about a north fox meet up. guess I'll have to find new people interested in doing that. (enter sad face emoji here)

I just said I’ve never been and always wanted to go. I’ve never been to outer space either but I want to go there as well :) Also, you know, rough river and all……

But yes, I would like to go to both 6y9 and 3m0 and osh and 6y3 and……

I didn't get the memo on this...but in all fairness, any given year could be the last. But so far, this is not.:D

Oliver and Martina are still flying, but their business is really getting in the way of that.

I might bring the Skyhawk up. Things did not go so great when I planned on bringing the Apache in '07. What could possibly go wrong this year?

They own an Archideck franchise. I think I have that correct. Anyway business is booming so they are both pretty swamped.

I’m gonna try real hard to make my way out there. Some guy in here says it’s a beautiful airport and it’s only about 1.5 hours away in my Slowdowner!

Whoever told you that was probably really smart. And also handsome. And probably does really well with the ladies. And also flies a really fast airplane. We should envy that guy all of us.

As usual, my partner in the airplane grabbed it for Labor Day weekend. I'm also still really iffy on getting my plane in and out of there fully loaded...

However, now I'm considering a Tesla road trip, which I haven't done before. If I can rent a campsite to plug in, it should be a piece o' cake.

I'm sure the wife and kid would rather take the airplane, though. Might need someone with a better short-field airplane to take them to a longer paved airport nearby if we do that.
