Half a century since the 1st US satellite went into orbit.
 
Yeah, we got a free lunch out of it today at JPL (paid for by Caltech).

Some of which is about to fall out of the sky. Latest bit of news is it is likely to crash somewhere in North America. Somehow, I wouldn't be surprised if it landed at KXTA.
Landed where? I'm not finding a location for that identifier.

I do recall reading another story on that recently.
