Seems like best idea would be to take a McCulloch Chain Saw to a McCulloch Gyrocopter.

When I was a teenager I worked in a chain saw store in Vancouver, WA.

McCulloch loaned us a go-cart with two McCulloch Mack 6 engines. That thing SCREAMED!!

The Aero department at my university had a J-2 that was used for the A+P program. I was curious and asked if it ever flew. I got a lot of funny looks...

After checking out all the moving parts and playing gyro pilot in the cockpit for a while, a few of us decided to start the engine an see if it would run. We got the engine started, but were scared to death to engage the rotor and a minute or so was all our ears could tolerate.

I wonder what ever happened to that one. I don't think I have any of the old photos to look up the N number.
