These lesson plans were created in 2018 during my Initial Certificated Flight Instructor Airplane Single-Engine Land course at an FAA Part 141 Flight School. Lessons are clear, detailed, and systematically laid out for ease of teaching AND effective learning...GUARANTEED! Several lessons have references to YouTube videos and other sites for a more visual learning experience.

This folder contains over 100 lesson plans, supplemental information, relevant (up-to-date) articles, memory aids, and Advisory Circulars to help you through flight instructor certification!

Each lesson plan provides clear objectives, required materials, suggested length, and completion standards (per FAA Private/Commercial ACS). Lesson plan lengths vary from 3-30 pages, depending on complexity and information. There are several references to the Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge (PHAK), Jeppesen Commercial/Instrument Guide, Federal Aviation Regulations, Aircraft POH, AIM and more.

@Patrick Rolle .... Created 2018.... but are they up to date with any changes that are effective 2020?

Does this meet all of the requirements per the current CFI PTS and current ACS's for PPL and CPL?
 
Hi @AggieMike88 ! As an active flight instructor, I have updated these as necessary over the past two years, including updated AC's and reference material. No guarantees are made, though.

I’m working on my CFI right now and might be interested. Could you provide a sample lesson for a flight? Feel free to plaster copyrights all over it if you’re concerned about theft, I’d just like to see the layout

I purchased these and, although I have not dug real deep yet, I am completely satisfied with what I have seen so far and have zero regrets having spent $25 on these lesson plans.

For some perspective, I have been a pilot for more than eighteen years and a CFI/CFI-I/MEI for six.

The ground is where you learn. The air is where you put into play what you learned on the ground. The cockpit is the world's worst classroom. Nothing should be introduced in the air that has not already been discussed on the ground.

I assume you're looking for a maneuver lesson? I do not have specific 'flight' layouts besides that. Let me know if that helps!

For those wondering. I bought a set and used it for my CFI training and passing the checkride. I will say this. It is customized to his local airport, so you might need to tweak it to fit your area (freqs, local airports etc) but that’s easy enough.
