2021 Texas Top Aviation Fly In at Lajitas

After the year that 2020 was, everyone is looking forward to a fresh start in 2021. What better way to kick off the year than to fly your plane to the beautiful Lajitas Golf Resort for lots of golf, a little aviation education, and a great time.

Come join Texas Top Aviation on March 24th-26th, 2021 in Lajitas, Texas for the 2021 Texas Top Aviation Fly In at Lajitas Golf Resort. Lajitas is home to the Black Jack Crossing Golf Course, which was named the Most Beautiful Course in Texas by Golf Magazine.

Come enjoy two days of beautiful weather in the Big Bend area of Texas. 2 Rounds of golf, plus Cirrus will be there (TBM and Piper might come too with turboprops to show off). A VisionJet might even show up.

Registration will be closing on February 22nd for the 2021 Texas Top Aviation Fly In at Lajitas Golf Resort. Space is limited, so make sure you sign up before it's too late! Piper will have an M500 or M600 on display while TBM will have one of the 900 series airplanes. There is a rumor Pilatus and HondaJet may bring demos as well.

The speaking schedule has been finalized for the pilot seminar on Thursday morning, March 25th. Scott Williams, President of COPA, will kick things off with his presentation “Top 10 Legal Mistakes Made By Aircraft Owners.”

Next, Pedro Vargas, CFI and Army Guard Blackhawk and King Air Pilot, will present on Weather, both pre-flight and in-flight, including Nexrad & Radar Usage, Personal Minimums, and the Go/No-Go Decision.

Hank Gibson, MMOPA Master Aviator and Gold Seal CFI, will conclude the morning with a “Back to the Basics of Flying” discussion, emphasizing the important little things we all learned during private pilot training which could save your life.
