The Other Person tends to destroy perfectly good pork tenderloins by crock potting them in to pulled pork. Cheap butt roasts make great pulled pork. I like to grill them too, and sometimes cut them up in to round chops. Thick of course.

From the tankless water heater thread, I noted that the drain valve hose bib had plastic threads, which immediately stripped out the first time I tried to perform a maintenance flush. Why you would use plastic in a highly stressed part, on a hot water heater no less, is boggling to the mind.

Is that a big deal? I've been researching the yearly "flush" which I understand is a disconnect and recirc with anti-scalant. I studied the piping array and realized that the installer had put in three-way flush valves, which should make the process easy with the right rig. I might just order...
