I hate women... what went wrong (pics)?

I don't think they seek them, it's just what they know. It's normal. They don't know to avoid bad relationships because in their world that is how a relationship is.

I hate women... what went wrong (pics)?

She got past the "slut" comment ok; probably had a sense of humor. Where he went wrong, other than being a complete douche, was that he was too too lazy to invest the time to at least go meet her somewhere to make the most of her interest. If he was that self-centered when she was showing some...

Texas gov. shoots, kills 'wily' coyote during jog

We have a lot of coyotes at our airport. They will sit and watch you taxi by without moving. I used to raise beef cattle and I never lost a calf to coyotes. I once got concerned because one of my dogs went out to meet a coyote out in the middle of a field. I was afraid the coyote would...

    FAA Based Aircraft Inventory Requirement...

Bolivar has a screwy manager; fuel wsales went down so he raised the price. The restaurant, the big draw for that airport, closed. They won't even let the girl who runs the restaurant sell anything because "it costs too much to light the grill." So while we would like to buy something to eat if...

    No more runups

We own our own planes, do our own maintenance in our own hangers and I do all the cleaning. (funny how that works...) I also do much of my own maintenance and 100 hour inspections, and I DO know what I'm looking for. I do a typical runup, mag check and pre-flight on first flight of the day...

Does anybody else collect the Aeroshell Cow Posters

DANG! A friend has the OSH 2008 cow poster in his very fancy hanger, and I wanted one. I tried an ebay search and found nothing, and now here you are, giving one away! But I'm too late... :cryin:

Opinions requested on PS Engineering Intercoms

Our Pitts had a PS Engineering intercom in it. It worked great! Their microphone technology is superb. The Pitts was not a quiet plane. Much better than the Garmin 347 (?) audio panel we have in the Cessna now. We'd replace the Garmin w/ the PS Engineering 8000, but hubby will have to re-pin the...

    430 up in smoke

I'd certainly be surprised as that hasn't been our experience. We'll know soon enough; our 430 needs a new board to fix a com problem so we are getting the WAAS upgrade at the same time. They'll include the repair in the price of the upgrade, and if they can't repair ours we'll get a different...

Thoughts on FAA/EAA's response to Jack Roush's Accident

God wouldn't that suck! The only thing that would make it worse, (barring the obvious; fatalities, injury to bystanders, etc.,) would be if you were someone famous that screwed up! I tend to see part of the point of the OP, and do wonder how the crash tied up the emergency workers long after...

    "New Posts" option at bottom

Not to come here and complain, but could you guys put the "New Posts" option at the end (bottom) of a page also? The purple board has that and it is very convenient and saves a mouse click or scolling back to the top. Or am I missing something? That's been known to happen...

    wheel pants w/ doors- decathlon?

I can just barely air up the tires on the Super-d with the wheel pants on, and ours do not have doors. I know what you mean though; the Cessna has the doors, which are actually a big pain themselves. We use nitrogen in our tires, btw, which is supposed to cut down on leakage. Also use the...

    Official 2010 Gaston's travel thread

I guess we were the first to leave. We tried to will the airplane a minor mechanical problem or timely low cloud so we'd have an excuse to stay, but we made it to the funeral on time, barely! (I hope to totally miss my own!) The flight home was high and cool and uneventful. Had a headwind to...
