    Do you tip your CFI?

That I do. I often tel her I appreciate her teaching style. She brought my son with us for a lesson and that really meant a lot. it was a great father son experience for me.

    Do you tip your CFI?

Good point. I am a private wealth advisor. I don't get "tips" but I do occasionally get sent gifts of appreciation. Much like lawyers and maybe doctors do. cant wait to be your CFI!

    In-flight turbulence phobias?

Can't stress this enough. Was what got me out of my "phobia". Easier said than done but it really is what it is. If your desire to fly is greater than your phobia, then it'll conquer.

    Do you tip your CFI?

OK after reading these few comments I am ok. I wanted to make sure there wasn't some sort of etiquette with Student/CFI working relationship like most/many service based sectors. Very good points made here, thanks!

    Do you tip your CFI?

Haaaa Absolutely not. Never crossed my mind. I am sure there is a big age gap as well, was never interested to find out. So, no, that is not a driving point for my question.

    Do you tip your CFI?

Hello all, I am 10 hours in and I really love my CFI. She gets me but I love how she teaches and answers all my questions that are all over the place. Just a good fit. (I don't know any better, she has been my one and only CFI although Id like to take some lessons here and there with others...

    The fear is driving me…

Just following up on this again..... I have not gone back to the DoCs. The Zulu's are awesome and I haven't even thought about the Bose, or buying one for that matter. This does it for me and is super comfortable (I wear it over a hat).

The fear is driving me... Part 2

I thought Id stop by and share an update to this thread... I believe I have come a long long way and I am super proud. My CFI made a comment this that put it all into perspective for me. I have been working on myself (well, actually my fear). The last three flights were quite rough, one...

The fear is driving me... Part 2

Awesome and scary at the same time. I guess it’s all about practice and experience that will help navigate and fight through these extremes. No mountains by my so haven’t take that factor into consideration as of yet.

    The fear is driving me…

Hey there, I finally got up there this morning. The Zulu's were awesome. Coincidence that today was my best overall flight. But the ANR did make a difference to the point I forgot I had them on. A bit on the heavier side compared to my David Clarks but very comfortable (I wear a cap with my...

    Flight Simulators

Hello all, With weather affecting my last few planned flights I thought about home simulators. Are home flight sims worth it? Are they realistic enough? What do you all recommend for in home simulators to keep fresh and practice? Anything MacBook/Xbox/Playstation compatible preferred. Im...
